that's kind of indicative of how I've been looking at the current economic climate. There IS money out there, just people aren't spending it (namely the top dollar execs) but eventually things will hit so low that ANYone with a little money can start buying houses like this. Then that means more people will start buying houses and next thing you know, you have a thriving community.

I just hope ..... (unions) ....people will realize that while prices will drop through the floor, so should wages. That will bring back manufacturing jobs and lower unemployment.......

Your correct about the Union aspect of it however Executive compensation should be capped in some form.President Obama made that promise of change last fall and has already reversed that it.Greed on both sides helped with the crash.

I personally think investing in these houses would be a good idea.Detroit will rebound.

I hear you scarey. I watched a doc on Bank of America/Merril Lynch and Thaine (I think that's how you spell it) was looking for a $20M bonus as part of the sale and they axed that but he still got big bonus' for the ML executives. They lost $10B and the execs got a bonus....WTF????

I thought bonus' were for when you did your job WELL????
