The photo print shops at Shoppers Drugmart has a self serve option for adding boarders and stuff to pictures. Postcards are pictures printed on thicker paper with writing on the back. Dont think you can get the thicker paper at shoppers.

I love www.shutterfly.com and I have used them for calendars, cards and mugs. I ordered 6 calendars using photos I took. I uploaded them to their site on a wednesday night and I had them by saturday. I live in NY and they shipped from California.

Go to Pikto....most pros in the city use them for this. Price is cheap and you can usually get them same day.

They also will print one copy to verify its good before doing the entire run. I've heard horror stories from people that went to a cheapie place and got 500 off colour cards. Pikto will do a test and won't do the run if it's bad.

You can download printer profiles from their site to ensure the cards or your other prints come out perfect.

They are great folks to deal with. If you have any questions regarding printing they are the place to go. You can rent Mac workstations in perfectly controlled light situations to proof before sending to the printer to ensure your colour balance is correct. For the 30 bucks an hour they charge for a workstation you can get a lot done if you're prepared ahead of time.

Otherwise I recommend you take one of their digital workflow courses. Well worth the money. You will save time and money.

Before you call shill...

I'm not involved with Pikto in any way. They are great people who will go the distance to help pro and newbies alike.

I highly recommend they're services. I personally use them every week for some sort of printing. I've never been disappointed.
