(note, this is reposted since I spelled posting wrong in the OP)

Help a new guy out, I'm confused about the proper etiquette regarding the level of detail included in posts.

On one hand, I see some of you guys write very specific things like "she charged $80 for a HJ" or "service was $180, greek included"

On the other hand, I have been chastised for something as simple as discussing whether FS was available.

Please clarify, which of the following details are acceptable for inclusion in a posting, and which aren't:

-Whether a MP will offer HJ, BJ, or other extras.
-How much a MP charges for extras.
-SP prices.
-Services that I have engaged in with a specific SP (greek, BBBJ, CIM, etc)
-Any additional charges that the SP charged for these additional services.
-Location used for incalls (generic)
-Precise location used for incalls.
-Contact details (phone number, email)
-Links to the SP's web add, which contain the phone number & email.

Thanks.

there's no etiquette dude... don't get all caught up with the comments from the peanut gallery... as long as you don't reveal inappropriate personal info about other members or SPs, and you don't start a bunch of slanderous drama, you're fine...

You are wrong on that point

There is etiquette for Massage Parlours (at least on TO board). Neither BJ, FS, DFK, DATY (if they should happen) should be directly references in a massage review.

Correct on most of the other stuff.... too many times people post unnecessary personal details in reviews

fair enough... i don't frequent MPs, so it wasn't at the forefront of my mind... your point is taken... although if you're worried about LE type stuff... people take a risk walking into an MP that provides such services and you should probably not be so worried about what's posted in cyber space if that's what you're doing in the real world... BUT... that's another can of worms, and not my original point here... just that the guy shouldn't debate symantics in his reviews... that's all I meant...

There are terb posting guidlines about these things and you should read them. Posts get deleted and MODs get unhappy if you break the rules.

On top of that the person you see may not wish you to disclose those details either. While it's not something the MODs may give you grief for its common curtisoy to ask an sp or mp if they wish to be reviewed before doing so.

To answer you questions;

Please clarify, which of the following details are acceptable for inclusion in a posting, and which aren't:

-Whether a MP will offer HJ, BJ, or other extras.

By definition these are not MP services, so saying an MP provides them can cause trouble.

-How much a MP charges for extras.
Only in vauge terms, perhaps that there are extras and a price list is okay as long as your not talking about what the extras are.

-SP prices.
Usually OK (unless she has specific rules or you got a special deal)

-Services that I have engaged in with a specific SP (greek, BBBJ, CIM, etc)
Ok from a Terb point of view but many SPs don't like to see that level detail because it creates an expectation for other customers who see her that the same services are always availlable. They may not be.

-Any additional charges that the SP charged for these additional services.
see above

-Location used for incalls (generic)
Don't post anything that is not in the public ad.

-Precise location used for incalls.
No, Incalls are a legal problem, don't talk the location whatsoever and if an SP is advertising as such you can talk about specific services either.

-Contact details (phone number, email)
Nothing that is not posted publicly already

-Links to the SP's web add, which contain the phone number & email.
This is generally the prefered way of providing the information.

Now, go to the lounge section and read the terb posting guidlines!

I don't recommend you tell anybody you are a member of a review board. MA/SP services will be completely biased if you tell them, and you should also keep your personal info private, unless you contact the MA/SP through this board. Do your review based on the services you received and how much satisfied you were.

O

OnTheWayOut

always wondered

since SPs can do most anything they want and MPs aren't allowed to do jack .... why don't MAs who do extras just advertise as SPs? Seems like it would alleviate some grief for them .... there's no rules saying an SP can't do massage, there's plenty who do.

You have all these MPs advertising without licenses and in fear of getting busted ....... I guess one of the reasons would be that each girl would have to be indy, so guys like Jimmy couldn't give the appearance of running the show ... then again, agencies do it .... so the guys who run the MPs wouldn't want to "give up control"? Then again, we have Tokyo Rose who has crossover services ... SP & MP and afaik has never had a problwm

fuck, why does getting laid have to be so complicated? whatever happened to the days of free love and a mindless fuck? these days you have to be a doctor, lawyer, traffic coordinator and god knows what else just to get yer willy waxed! there ya go gmuoo, that's why I see regs ... less complications!

I agree in the sense that you should not try and use the fact that you going to write a review to get different service. You shouldn't ask if you they would want you to do a review before recieving service.

I think as customer it is reasonalble to review the overall experience without permission i.e. good value for the dollar, something you'd want to repeat. Certainly if the experience is a rip off in some way.

Going beyond that the details may not be something that they want shared. Like unadvertised extra options or unadvertised pricing or even the specifics of the appointment. When you get down to things like what was done, in what order and how well, these things are pretty personal. Even you feel like it's something that you want to write a review about there is another person on the other side of that personal experience so it only makes sense to me to get an ok before hand.

My opinion anyway.

It has nothing to do with LE. More to do with YMMV and expectations, and keeping what happens in the room private beyond the regular bodyslide and HJ (that's the Toronto massage board etiquette anyway). It makes it wasier for the MPA as well/ that's why services such as DFK and DATY are never mentioned on those boards.
