shred 3 medium potatoes and 1/2 a sweet onion. Add 3 eggs, 1/2cup bread crumbs, pepper, salt, and a dash of oil.
Fry em up.

You need to go to Polonez on Roncessvalles. Great polish food all round, very clean place, decent prices, etc.
I grew up with Russian potato pancakes as my mother's family was off the boat from Minsk and it's always interesting to eat polish, or Ukranian, or Serbian or whatever and say "these aren't the same as mom's"
Polonez comes close to my mother's (Minsk is pretty close to Poland I suppose)
But the worst is cabbage rolls. I LOVED my mother's cabbage rolls, but the Serbian ones I've had usually make me heave (fermented cabbage), the Ukranian ones are full of grease and other wierd stuff like buck wheat and bacon.
Ah the memories.

Definitely thinking tater pancakes today. Londa's a small diner near me has them all day. So maybe tater pancakes side of sausage and bacon, 3 eggs over easy coffee and juice will hit the spot.
