I was in Prague in fall of 2007. Since I was very short on time and knowledge, I visited two strip clubs at one end of Wenceslas Square: the biggest tourist trap in the city. But I was willing to pay for the convenience and being within walking distance of the hotel. Plus I had no language skills.
There are these guys who hang around the square touting the different strip joints. I don't see any downsides to letting them take you for a free look as long as you stay in the tourist area. It's not like I'm going to be paying any less showing up by myself and negotiating with the doorman.
Drinks are not cheap at these places and the "lady drinks" are priced like 15 mins of private dance so be careful.
Carioca: 300czk got you in and a coupon for 5 beers. Hard working bar wench will stamp it one drink at a time so don't think you have to turn in the coupon for all five at once. The toilets cost 5czk. Go early and get some change. Then you can tip the attendant and the bartender.
There were definitely quite a few 8-9 / 10 girls there. 1500czk for 10 minute private dance, 2000czk for 20 minutes. I don't think there is anymore than dancing and groping going on.
There was one 10/10 there when I came in. She was talking to some girls but was dressed conservatively. Turns out she was there with her boyfriend and was buying her man a private dance. Lucky bastard.
GoGoParadise: 200czk got you in and two shots (or 3 beers?). I went for the two shots and paid another 200czk to get a bottle of soda for mix. After a while, some girls approached me and explained the options. Pricing was similar to Carioca but they were upfront which ones meant BJ and which FS. I declined to watch the stage show for a while.
There was a 9/10 there. She told me right away she was a dancer only, no extras. I spent 3200czk for 30mins in a private room with a nice blonde. Usual downtown restrictions I read about in the international forums (all covered, no kissing). She agreed to msog and was prepared for it but I ran out of time after one. I'm not complaining.
