Do we allow "Presumed Consent" in sex? No. Of coarse not.

Why do we allow it in politics?

You get to vote once every 4 or 5 years, and then its presumed the "leaders" making all decisions going forward have your best interests at heart.

This isn't right wing vs left wing bullshit. This is we need a better system than what we have bullshit.

Nothing would get done if we had to all vote on every decision. That's the point of representative democracy.
