Price Check?

Approx how much would it cost me for a new motherboard and CPU? Mine is about 3-4 years old and reaching the end of its capabilities.

I'm not a hardcore gamer, though I do play WoW so it needs a minimum graphics ability. I don't do any graphic design stuff though.

Don't need any of the other peripherals, just the MB and CPU (oh, and probably RAM).

Would $600 cover it?

If the machine is 3-4 years old it might be time to simply change all of it. You will probably have to look into a new video card too.

600 should cover it easily. Check out this store www.cicc-computer.com. A mom and pop shop but with amazing prices and he states he will beat any advertised price. He is also honest and tries to get you the best deal for what you need. Have bought from his store many times. Danibbler is right though, you will probably need a new vid card to go with that new Motherboard.
