I was just told there is going to be a protest in Mel Lastman square today at 2 against the election in Iran, so maybe avoid that area if your in a hurry.

Or check it out if your good at picking up hippies.

I am not sure what good it does to protest in Toronto when the problem is in Iran. But what the heck.

I wonder if people will be burning Iranian flags and its leaders in effigy.

I think Toronto will use anything as an excuse to protest. In fact, the level of outrage seems to vary proportionally with the futility of the cause! If protesting in Iran is a lost cause due to the inherent corruption of the process and overreaching control of the Ayatollah, what do you possibly hope to accomplish with a bunch of meaningless marching and chanting on the other side of the ocean?

Talk about misdirected energy.....

Can I assume that the protest is against the murderous mullah thugs? Or, is it a protest by the paid agents of the mullahs?

Protesting the rigged election they just had. Theoretically some lefties chanting in Toronto will inspire a recount I guess.

Since they cannot protest without fear of getting killed in Iran, I would happily allow them to use Mel Lastman Square. I think the world needs to hear the voices of those Iranians and their supporters protesting against those murderous mullahs.
