Punta Cana

Staying at the Bavaro Princess in early March. Going with family, but looking to take an "excursion" or two. Any other mongers heading south in March? If not, any advice on hobbying in Punta Cana.

Ideally, looking for trustworthy cab driver to show me about. Any ideas or reviews would be appreciated. I know of WSG, etc. Looking for more direct links. Any comments on Blackbeards. Is it in strking distance?

Also..is the Riu Palace within walking distance? Want to check it out.

As for recommendations on the ladies, I know there are lots of hot Dominican ladies. The problem is finding them. Any direct info would be apprecitaed with individuals. Any one wanting to escape with a "friend", do let me know. We could pair up to "head into town".

Alright, it seems you have your mind made up....one piece of advice though.
Go to your family doctor and ask him for the Twinrex injection.
It's to keep you from getting hepatitis.
It's protection for all the types.
3 injections - the first two are taken 30 days apart and the last one 6 months after.

I've been to Punta Cana too and while the resorts are nice ...the town is a hole (it's like someone put a resort out in the sticks). The minute you step out of the cab every local will sworm you. I wouldn't touch most the girls to save my life either. You need to hit a bigger town in DP for some action.

Red Hot: did you mean Bavaro Palace...If it's the Palace then it's a really nice resort, it's on a Huge property with another 5 Bavaro resorts, you can take a little train to each one.
If you want action in Punta Cana then you had learn to speak spanish real fast, the majority of the people at your resort will be Spanish, with a few Brits and other Euro's thrown in. The locals can't speak a word of english except for "baseball been belly belly good to Sammy Sosa".
The niteclub at this resort is good for a little action but the crowd is very young not many over 25 and are all tourists no locals in club.
IMHO ..if you are going with family relax and enjoy your vacation, the beach is very nice, nice topless honnies walking around, nice resort, nice casino and golf course but as far as action is concerned "NO DICE" too risky on the resort with your family around and way too complicated off the resort especially if you don't speak the language.
P.S. bring me back a bottle of Brugal !!

It is complete waste of your time chasing local girls in Punta Cana. Enjoy your vacation and you may get lucky with a tourist.

If that is what u r looking 4 u chose the wrong spot. Not much there from what I hear.

You would be much better off to have booked a resort in Puerto Plata. Then at least you could have left the resort to go into the city (lots of action there), or to Black Beards, (about 10 mins away) or to Sosua where there is also lots and Lots of action.

I was at Blackbeards in oct and had a Great time. Many others have been there 2 and everyone I recomended it too have had no complaints. However it is way too far from Punta Cana!

Next time, stay in Puerto Plata or Sosua. In downtown Sosua there are a ton of girls, they love Canadians. I was in the DR a few weeks ago. I was with the wife so I did not have a chance to see any of the girls.

These girls are amongst the most beautiful girls in the world, a mixture of black, Indian, white and spanish, there is much to choose from.

I agree, it's a waste of time to chase the locals, the Dominican's are a very reserved people (most of the hotel staff are shocked at the topless tourists).

If you have a chance in hell it is with the young'ens staying at the resort. There are like 8 resorts in the compound. So if you are there with your family you could always sneak over to another resort (problem is all of the resorts share the same beach).

I think silk& UN are right other towns are better.

Is the above quote completely true? I went on a dive trip. I noticed that two of the girls working on the boat were quite interesting. When the other tourists were away, and I commented on the good looking girl giving him a massage, he said that I could get a "Massage Completo" for $50US from these girls.
Later on, I spent a quite a bit of time talking to these girls and getting drunk- they were definately available for hire - they were asking what positions etc. I like (and showing me drawings of the pictures on their cell phone to make sure there wasn't a communications problem.
They must do this quite a bit as one of the guys working there said if I come back for a trip, I should take the girls for a week and do a diving trip. The dive-master said he would arrange an inexpensive hotel for me and all would be set.
that sounds like a good dive holiday!
Unfortunately, his business card with his email address got wrecked in the wash.....
This was a city with a harbour on about 4 hrs away from Punta Cana.

Don't waste your time at Punta Cana--go to Cabo San Lucas instead--an unlimited variety of nite life-great shows-beautiful girls-good action=especially at Lord Black's and Boleros. A can't miss opportunity!!

Agree with the previous comments, stay at the hotel and enjoy the surroundings. you could get a nice lady in Toronto before going to Punta Cana and another one when you come back, it will be safer especially because of the language difference.

Thats the best Dominican Viagra. Whooo.. when I went to DR in the summer I drank a bottle of that and my cock was hard all fucking day!!! Get that you'll enjoy it. You'll probably even get a woody around your family!! If you go to Santo Domingo make sure you buy a couple of cartons of smokes because its goddamn cheap!!! $8US/carton!! Even if you do get taxed its still cheaper. Stay away from the Punta Cana downtown. Its very possible of you getting robbed. They hassle you like crazy and its not fun to be. Personnally, if I had a choice I wouldn't go to DR. The ppl are greedy for money and they treat you like shit. For a better time go to Varadero, CUba. You'll love it much more the DR. Cheers!!

I wouldn't go to Punta Cana either. Certainly not for a resort vacation. In the Carribean, I'd go to St Kitts, US Virgin Islands, St Barts, St Maartens. Much nicer facilities, beaches, towns and women. DR is a hole.
