Question about masking URLs

This is tricky to 'splain because when you do it right the software actually performs the cosmetics and hides the mechanism. And it automaticly makes anything into a link that starts with htt-you know-p:// etc.

To make clickable URL, you have to precede the http://… stuff with url in square brackets[] and follow it with /url also in[]. To hide the messy bit, and substitute some post-friendly wording you alter that first url in the [] to read /url[/I] again in square brackets [].

You could likely use the 'Make link' button above the window on your clickable text then paste =http:/etc into the opening [url] it inserts, but I haven't used it.

Hope it's clear. It's actually explained somewhere in the parts of TERB we visited long ago when joining and have since forgotten.
