ok I know this is kind of funny topic but a friend of mine would like to shave her pubic area instead of a neat trim. Personally I thought all women were familiar with this but my wisdom is lacking in this area. Any suggestions from the SPs out there?

1. Does the hair grow back thicker? or is this an old wives tale?
2. Does it itch?
3. How often do u have to shave?
4. What about in grown hair risk?
5. Do you use any special cream or lotion after?

Thanks in advance

answers to questions

1. no it doesn't.

2. yes until you get used to it.

3. 2 times a week (someone else shaves) ;)

4. not much of a risk.

5. baby oil

directions for shaving: wet area...... lather up.... shave carefully.... rinse ........then taste test to make sure it's soft enough.

Careful Love4Lust!!

Question #1 put me in mind of a Seinfeld episode when Jerry shaved his chest to keep some girl:

Kramer: You can't keep this up. Don't you know what's going to happen? Everytime you shave it, it's going to come in thicker and fuller and darker.
Jerry: Oh that's an old wives tale.
Kramer: Is it? Look at this.
Kramer walks off-screen and opens his shirt. On-screen, Jerry reels from the sight.
Kramer: (high pitched voice) Look at it! Look at it! And it's all me. I shaved there when I was a lifeguard.
Jerry: Oh come on. That's genetics. That's not going to happen to me.
Kramer: Won't it? Or is it already starting to happen?

Having tried both, I believe the best method is waxing. It does hurt the first time, but afterwards you get used to it.
Furthermore, it takes much longer for the hair to grow back, so one waxing lasts about 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the rate of regrowth.
There's no itching either, but the best part is that there's never any stubble! The hair grows back soft & fine, like peach fuzz.
Of course, it's important to find a really good & experienced esthitician who knows what she's doing. Personally speaking, I would never go back to shaving now.

How about Laser removal? I am told this will solve the ingrown hair problem on that area for good. Does it work?

BTW, any guys do big favours to the girls by shaving their pubic area? Do you guys think having a clean shaven pubic area on the guy mean he is not straight?

Mmm.......clean shaven pussy.......yummy like an apple pie :)

Hell no to the landing strip!!

I keep my pubic area neatly trimmed, balls shaved, and shaved behind tha balls as far as I can. (How DOES one get those hairs out of the anus? Not with a razor, I think!) It gets me appreciative comments from my partners.

Re: the shaved/not-straight question, no. He is being thoughtful for his orally-oriented partner(s). Trying to guess sexual orientation from personal grooming habits is just jumping to conlusions.

hey pine apple, don't worry, I do it too (when I have a partner or about to).

Its not gay and its not only better for your partner when they perform oral but I find that sex is a whole lot "smoother". This is especially true if she shaves as well.......I believe there was a thread on this a while back, its not that rare....

I've never had a homoerotic moment in my life.

Me too, pineapple guy, except I like that area smooth...hehe.

When guy shaves his own pubic area regularly like shaving beard every single day like a clockwork, there is one less excuse for girls objection to shave.

I guess that's what I call "gender equality" :)

BTW, here are more questions,

1) For Mr. Lover, do you trim or shave?

2) For ladies, what do you think of guys shaving clean down there? Would you appreciated more to the guys?

Based on my personal experience, usually the caucasian ladies are more open to this, while I found the majority of Asian women had total disdain and even hostile attitude to any guys doing this, equalling to that guy as either not straight or some kind of perv.

3) Anybody have tried to shave each other genital areas as a kind of foreplay?
