Question for hobbyists: Has this ever happened to you?

I recently learned that one of my very favourite ‘workers’ will be moving into my neighborhood to ply her trade, and I mean mere steps from my front door! One thing that has kept my hobby-related spending under control is the fact that I’ve always had to go out of my way to visit my favourite SPs/MPAs. With this recent development, I see myself having a tough time at home knowing that this ultra hot lady is just down the road offering her amazing service. I’m currently working on a somewhat involved project that often causes me considerable frustration. When I’ve had enough of this I can easily see myself taking a leisurely walk to the bank…. then you know where. To make matters worse, I understand she’ll be getting a hot tub!

Has anyone else ever found himself in this predicament? If so, how did you control the urge to visit every danm day (short of moving)??? (I can anticipate what many of you are going to suggest, and YES…. I’ll definitely be doing a lot of that….. though I don’t think it’ll be enough! LOL)

If I were to reveal who it is (and she's been extensively reviewed, so I'm not withholding anything), fellow addicts on this board will probably just advise me to move as resistance will be futile!

And just as I was attempting to quit, too. If there is a GOd, could she/he be testing me???

Or he/she could be saying, "Rerun, you deserve to see your favourite girl everyday, so I'm making it easier for you!"

Obviously, you have been a very good boy. This is not a test... it's a REWARD!

My advice? Buy a lottery ticket. It's a sure thing!

Something similar happened to me and I had to stop seeing the girl alltogether. I was going broke. Its like quitting cigarettes too, after three years I still want to go back.

Rerun, you are such a lucky guy.

You can try to hook her up but she can stop seeing you altogether, for fearing she gets exposed.

The major deterrent from visiting at all would be my reputation. People in the neighborhood are bound to get wind of what’s going on in the house that she’s working from. Hence, I wouldn’t want to be seen coming and going from there.

Even if they don’t know, how am I going to respond when people ask, “hey Rerun, who were you visiting in that house?” I’ll just have to make sure I always leave with a cup of sugar or a blender! LOL
