Question for Web Marketing Gurus

Are there any web marketing gurus present? Do you have an opinion on Alexa's data? I've read just about everything I could easily find, and know that the sample is 10 mil browsers etc.. just wondering if someone has any hard data on their own site, and feels that Alexa is maybe like plus/minus 15% accurate in their ranking... comments?

Alexa's data is a good representation, however the traffic numbers may not be 100% accurate as they can't possibly get the server log info. They collect their data mainly from
a) their browser toolbar
b) info through google

But it's still and apples to apples comparison.

Right. Thanks for that dave! I am mainly curious about the unique visits anyway.
