Is there any way to record the soundtrack from music DVD's onto recordable CD's? I enjoy the live soundtracks of certain groups like U2 more than there studio CD's. I know I have been able to record them on cassette tapes but I'd rather have it on CD. If they offered the CD version of the DVD live concert, I would buy it.

You are asking a lot of different questions here but the answer is yes to all of them. It just depends on your technical ability and how much effort you want to go to?

You can do something as simple as playing the DVD on your computer and playing it through a sound system right up to ripping/capturing the audio files.
