Bought a new desktop PC as my existing one, while still perfectly fine for my requirements, wouldn't support Windows 11.
Kept the same monitor, plugged it into the new PC, set the display resolution the same as the old PC (1680 x 1050), but display doesnt "fit " the screen anymore. Taskbar on the bottom of the screen is only partially visible (top half visible but bottom is cut off.

I've tried a few different resolution configurations, but they all either made the problem worse, or if they resolved the taskbar issue then the proportions of all other images/text seemed unnatural.
Any assistance on fixing this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks folks

I had a similar issue when I upgraded to Windows 11. The solution that worked for me was adjusting the scaling settings.
To do this, right-click on the desktop and select "Display settings." Under the "Scale and layout" section, try changing the scaling percentage to a higher or lower value to see if it helps with the taskbar visibility. If there's anything wrong with the windows installation process, you can get cheap windows key here. I hope that helps you.
