Question: UFC PPVs in Canada?

I may be getting sent to Toronto this coming weekend, and would like to catch the UFC even it possible. Pardon my ignorance on this, but are the numbered UFC events PPV in Canada (I know they're on the equivalent of basic cable in the UK and much of the rest of the world - could I watch it on TSN in my hotel room)? And if it is on PPV, do you guys have any recommendations for where to watch it?

Back home, I usually go to one of the nicer gentlemen's clubs in Philadelphia and watch the fight with a cigar, wearing a nice suit. With respect, the clubs I've been to in Toronto don't have that vibe.

We have UFC PPV here, you won't get them on a cable channel in your hotel room after the pre-lims and early fights are done. 10pm, it switches over to the PPV main event. A number of bars and restaurants carry the events, such as Boston Pizza, St Louis Bar and Grill, Shoeless Joes and Real Sports. You can do a search on bars.ufc.com for locations near where you will be.

LOL

We do have PPV and there are sportsbars and other places that shows it. I'm from Ottawa and I know the Casino (on the Hull side) that I go to shows them.
Not sure about cigar rooms, not my thing so I never look for or paid attention to them actively.

For specific places with the desired dress code that you are looking for, I'll let the Torontonian terbites pitch in.

You should inquire if the PPV is available at your hotel. Watching the PPV at a sports bar will suck because of the noise and crowds. The few times I went, I didn't even get a seat.

It likely will be available at the hotel if he wants to pay the 60 bucks to watch it there. I used to go watch the popular St ************ fights at and East Side Marios or a Boston Pizza and rarely had trouble with noise. Of course people cheered, but they had the sound turned up pretty good. Getting a seat was an issue for those arriving after 11 on those heavy draw fights, but I haven't been following enough the last couple years to know how big the fights are now. To be honest, Frank Mir is the only name I recognize for this Saturday's fight, so I don't know how big a draw it is for the casual fan (which is who ends up filling those larger bars up).

I'm a huge UFC fan but have never paid for a ppv. Watch them online for free.
