What's up with QuickTax??? This year it only lets you do 2 returns when it's always been 6 in the past.

Time to look for other software...

You also used to be able to buy extra returns for a reasonable fee. Now it's $15.00 per return!

Been using Ufile for a couple years, no complaints. Quicktax's interface was getting very dated and clunky to me, and Ufile was slightly cheaper.

I agree. I have used this product since it was called Hometax so I picked up a copy and had it installed before I noticed the fine print on the box (2 returns). They really suck and it wasn't nearly as expensive before to add on returns.

To add another curve -
I do a lot of returns for family and friends (using Quicktax). This year the Canada Revenue Agency has put a limit (20) on the number of returns that can be netfiled from a single PC. Sounds like the big tax guys like H&R Block have some say in making the rules.

I'm switching to Ufile this year. Fuck Quicktax.

From all the reviews I've read, Ufile is better anyhow. Apparently hiking the price and lowering the number of returns aren't the only fuck-ups; there have been software glitches as well.
