I remember watching him play for Peterborough and the Soo in Junior.

That Soo team had Gretzky, Craig Hartsburg and Ted Nolan on that team but not much else.

He sounds like he had a lot of fun when he was in the booth...He'll be missed.

Can't find a cause of death anywhere...

I enjoyed watching him play, and I enjoyed listening to him on the broadcasts. He was a main player in the notorious "Chuck Norris" division of the 1980's. RIP.

Personally I wasn't a fan, he may be the most annoying color commentator not named John Garrett. He also had an unremarkable career in the NHL.
However being only 67 and seemingly in good health, this sudden death is surprising. I'd be curious as to what took him out. RIP.
