I take it it puts a positive spin on the racism issue in Denmark?

By skimming the report, I would imagine that the report is truthful, lookingforitallthetime said:Is it your experience that the report appears accurate?

Enough analysis?

For example, the Swiss People's Party in Switzerland received the most votes in the last election... a party built off xenophobia and which their official logo of 3 white sheep kicking the black one out of Switzerland. Sentiment in France and Germany is rising xenophobia.
It is more anti-immigrant than racism IMHO. They do not like new immigrants taxing their social system and also would rather have them conform. Europe, unlike say America, is more suspicious of strong religious beliefs hence muslims are veiwed with more hostility.
Are you kidding? I'd say the vast majority of immigration is for economic reasons. Just look at the history of immigration to North America. Heck America markets itself as the land of opportunity. And most people come for economic opportunity. They don't come because they are attracted to our culture. Most people would choose to stay in the home country if economic conditions were better. For example notice that the wealthiest asian country (Japan) has the smallest population in North America. There is a reason for that. Canada (and America) is historically a land of immigrants looking for better economic opportunity. If you were well off, you stayed put where you were back in your "homeland"Aardvark154 said:One wonders why if one doesn't like, for instance, France, French culture, food, language etc. . . they would move to France. Economic Migration is no justification for wanting to remake the country you've gone to in the image of your homeland.
