They have had contracts to provide internet service for some of Ontario's hospitals for last 10 years. Since being online is crucial for a hospital I'm guessing they're a legit provider
Give us an update...I'd jump in on it if it's really good. Internet should be cheap.

Still waiting on update
The installer is coming this thursday.
I wont know how well their service works until its installed.
And then I have to wait a few months to get a better long-term assessment.

I'll give you guys an update this friday and tell you what my download speed is.
And then you'll have to wait a few months to get a more accurate long-term review

So far so good. My internet speeds are much higher than Rogers.
I will give another review in 6 months or so to see if there are any major outages or other problems.

Calling Rogers today to tell them to (politely) go fuck themselves.

EDIT: so I just got off the phone with Rogers. When you try to cancel your internet the 1st phone lady will try to sell you a discount package to get you to stay. When you say no you are then upgraded to her manager who will offer you even higher discounts. He mentioned between $40 to $60 off on my monthly fee. I already had Rally installed so I declined their offer, but you guys might wanna try the same and bluff your way into getting Roger discounts

I wonder if you get any buffering with these channels at this site. I get buffering once and while with Tekksavvy.

So currently I'm paying Rogers a mind-boggling $125 for home internet service.
Thats for 500 megs down, and I'm barely getting 63 mpbs when I run a speedtest.
Unbelievable!!

So I get this flyer in the mail the other day from a company called Rally.
For just $40/month they give you 1,000 mbps and free modem plus router rental for as long as you sign up.
Rogers can go fuck themselves. I'm signing up with Rally tomorrow. Adios amigos!!

There website is kind of shit, doesn't show any kind of pricing which is kind of red flag for me, but judging by this it looks like for TV and internet it would be 90 bucks a month. Correct?

So here's my review:

I'm getting the same shitty speeds on Rally as I'm getting with Rogers.
The weird thing is when I do a speedtest on my desktop I get bad speeds (between 50 and 150 down).
When I do the speedtest on my Samsung smartphone I get 500 (which is what I should be getting).

Does anyone know what could be causing that?? Something to do with my internet card maybe??

Very strange

Not answer to your question, but if your getting the same shitty speeds, at least your getting the shitty speeds at a lower price.

I used to do this with Rogers all the time. It got to the point where I wouldn't threaten but just ask "what good deals do you have to offer?" If I didn't like the response, I'd say it was time for me to "look around." Also, one Rogers phone person told me to call and make any threats couple of weeks before my plan ended so that they could correct the new billing process in time before the term finished.

IT could be the network card in the Desktop computer.
The only way to test this is, to get one of your friends or neighbors to use their cell phone on your Internet. Yes you have to give them the password, then change it so they don't have access, or they could bring their laptop.

Some of my buddies who have the Bell Internet through Primus are having issues with certain channels on their IPTV as well as VODs being throttled totally.
They tried to get Bell to address the issue via Primus, but according to Bell they checked the signals and found it to be "Excellent".
The only way my buddies managed to get these channels back is when I recommended them to use either a VPN or even more promising at an even more cost effective rate is the Cloudflare:

They all switched to Cloudflare and the problem was resolved.
