Re-marry

I've notice since 2000's most people don't choose to re-marry again.
Some of these are 50 now and don't want to but do or did have FWB/NSA some as long as monthly or decade, some 2 - 4 partners at the same time. I am not talking about SW/SP.

Do you know anyone personally that got remarried? - after 2000's
Did they get divorce again?


The 1990's is a grey area and before 1990 some people did.
But now, I just don't see it.
I know there will be some off stories.

Fewer people are choosing to get remarried these days. There’s not as much pressure to marry young anymore. Many people focus on their careers and personal goals before thinking about marriage, and some decide not to marry at all.

For those who have been through a divorce, it can be really tough, both emotionally and financially. The idea of losing money or going through that pain again makes some people think twice about remarrying. If their first marriage was a bad experience, they may not want to risk going through that again. If someone has a few options for companionship, they might not see the need to go through the stress and cost of getting married again. People today are making choices that work best for their own lives, not just following old traditions.

This is me 100%. Currently still separated, amicably, from the wife. We have a child together whom we split custody of. I've always dated my own ethnicity, herself included.

Thinking forward, I'm dating outside of my ethnicity and don't care to get married again. Nor do I want anymore kids (considering getting a vasectomy, actually). All of those traditional things (marriage, dating within ethnicity, having kids) was for my parents. Now I'm going to do 100% what I want and for my own happiness.
