recovering ur favorites

hello,
is there away of recovering all the favorite webpages from a hard drive?, my computer crashed, i had a friend install the old hard drive into my new system.
lots of webpages saved on IE ( for business)

If it crashed completely, then there's no chance, you'd have to take it to a recovery center.

If it still works and you can access it, just open up your browser, click export, and follow the steps to export you bookmarks/favourites. It'll create and new file for you with all your bookmarks in it.

Or, do this: C Drive - Documents & Settings - Your Name... then just copy those bookmark files to a disk/USB drive.

On XP:

c:\documents and settings\your login name\favourites

obviously, your old drive will not be c:\, so substitute the correct drive letter there. The point is, you can then copy the favourites folder over to your c:\ drive and then you'll have them in IE.

Of course, I'm assuming that you use XP, if you're using a different OS, it'll just be a slight variation.
