Depends on portion size and cut of meat.
A rib eye steak every day will definitely ruin your health.
A leaner cut of beef is better than chicken wings.
However lean ground beef and chicken breast, may both be good choices when eaten in moderation.

A distinction should be made between unprocessed and processed red meat. Huge difference. How the animal was raised and fed is also important. Also cooking method. People like char and char is carcinogenic.

That’s very odd. I have/had many relatives in a country in Europe that ate meat of all types but especially beef and pork, and lived well into their 80’s and 90’s. They also drank alcohol daily and even ate the wicked carbs on a daily basis.

Be more worried about what they are labelling these days as ultra processed foods.

High glycemic carbs and sugar drive inflammation not meat.

On my day to day life, I try to eat 1 ingredient products that are locally sourced. However, I said that in the sense that I will absolutely not prevent myself from eating amazing stuff at the restaurant or home fat or carbish just because we suddenly have to watch everything.

I actually encourage people to go of their way to eat a satiation meal once a week. Include it with a day filled with adventure and decadence...Marry this altogether to hardwire the dopamine experience in your brain. Never deprave yourself of the power food and experience associated with it. Gotta apply some temperance to the formula however. Once a week.

I think it was Billie Connelly discussing good vs bad food. He said the difference between eating white bread and brown bread may add a few weeks in to your life, and on the rail end, so fuck it.

I eat a variety diet. Try to stay away from processed foods as much as possible, and watch portion sizes. But happily eat various meats, sausages(butcher made) seafood because the difference between living to 90 or living to 95 doesn't seem worth it.
