Restaurant/bar recommendation please

I'm not familiar with the Yonge/Sheppard area and am looking for a restuarant within walking distance of the Sheppard Centre. It doesn't have to be formal but something where I can enjoy a nice wine or martini.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

There is a Keg up there that has a decent wine selection but don't know about how good the bartenders are at making Martini's

Not sure exactly what style of place you're looking for, but there is a Keg right there. And there's a Baton Rouge and a Milestones just up Yonge a few minutes.

Wineguy - thanks for the recommendation, it was an either/or anyway I try not to drink both wine and martinis at the same time as that gets a bit messy.

HG - I was sacrificing style for location, I am willing to go just about anywhere as long as it's close enough to my destination. I don't want to be walking out in the cold for very long in heels, I am not made of very hearty stock I tend to wither in the cold.

Jaguar I didn't see "My House" on the map, I guess I'll have to make a reservation at it, sounds like a very exclusive place.
