Restaurant Recommendation

I'm looking for a good restaurant in the GTA for a romantic dinner however would like to find one which offers a private dining room or at least an area which allows for alot of privacy.

It does not have to the most expensive restaurant however a private dinning area is preferred. Any type of cuisine is acceptable once again the point is privacy.

Le Castille on dundas just west off Hwy 427.it,s a big place but there is a lot of ''nooks and crannies''. it,s pricey and is best known for the steak. If you phone ahead they might find an intimate spot for you.

Maybe try a Japanese restaurant. They have enclosed booths: remove shoes, sit cross-legged (not always required), kinda bright, but very intimate <<wink>><<wink>>. Try Ematei on Queen and St.Patrick (next to McCaul St, below 52 Division, if it is still around). Although they are picky about the number of people required for private room, about four I believe.

I got the impression Peeler was looking more for more of a DFT* experience. If so, this won't work out so well if four are required.

However "Sakura" at Jarvis and Adelaide has nice booths and no minimum diner restriction.

Thanks Zog, I'll have to remember Sakura. Ematei had/has restrictions, but probably only on busy nights. btw, Peeler never said there weren't going to be two couples
