Tony and Anthony's Golden nugget for steaks

Mesa Grille in Ceasers for pork tenderloin

Maggianos on the Strip for Italian.

Marguerittaville for burgers, music and the mermaid

The Bar at Times Square for Dueling Pianos in NYNY for after dinner drinks and GREAT ENTERTAINMENT.

Absinthe...the show at Ceasers...... Crude, but you will laugh your ass off.

Was just there, Did Gordon Ramsey's Steak

Pretty Awesome

If you can't get into SW, across the hall is Lakeside. Steak is cooked on the same grill's and a whole lot cheaper at Lakeside

Did American Fish at Aria, Awesome Alaskan Halibut, but they do a great steak also

That's it for now

I had the pizza at LA Italian Kitchen in the Venetian food court.

It was darn good. Definitely not fancy, if that's what you're looking for (you order/pick-up at the counter and just grab an available table, like in a mall food court).

PS. They seem to be open later than other places, and may be the only option if it's late.

Hi There

Yes you can, I had the Alaskan Halibut, which was $36 or $42, Plus lobster roll for appetizer, Friend had steak, couple a bottles of water, wine, no dessert.

Highly recommended

Make sure you look at there grill. It is open kitchen.

Believe there menu is online also

Enjoy, I did

Champcar,

Heading there next week and was wondering about American Fish. Can two eat there (appetizer, entree, dessert, two drinks) for under $250? If so, do you recommend? Thanks

Look forward to your review

Friend and I did Gordon Ramsey's Steak at Paris

Not a bad meal at all. Problem is $$$$ Not afraid to spend it but there has to be an upper limit here. Meal was great but it's all the little things that kill you. Bottled water, sides are off the map, dessert etc

Stayed at the Wynn and had everything comped including food. Ate at SW a couple of time, Lakeside , Botero, Bartolotto

It's a whole lot better that way

Anyway enjoy our trip

Thanks. Gonna take your recommendation and book my reservation

I just got back from 4 days in San Francisco and 4 days in Las Vegas. I say do not go on a trip to get what you can get at home for less. If you really want to have an expensive meal. there are no shortage of places to spend your bucks. There is nothing in LV that you can not get at home. I suggest you see the sights and get the best bang for your buck. I did not stay in the best hotels because it is just a place to sleep. Get yourself a monorail pass, for the week it is about $55 per person. I paid $36 for 4 days. The monorail brings you to all big attractions. You can eat in some of the more expensive places, but there are so many good reasonable priced places. Eat well once a day and snack or get a take out the rest of the day. We went to Ellis Island Restaurant where the rib steaks are $6.99, the portions are huge and you can enjoy a beer from their micro brewery. There are lesser known casinos like Casino Royal that have food courts that have a foot long hot dog that is quite good, ($2) it is actually a foot long. There are a million good places to eat in LV. We were at the Garden Court Buffet twice. Once for a big breakfast ($8), and then for a late lunch ($9) at 2:00 PM. At buffets, fill yourself up but to not stuff yourself, you need to walk around to see the sights.

When in Vegas, get the best bang for your buck. Do not gamble, it is all the gamblers that go to Vegas that pay for the fantastic deals that I get when I go to LV.

Ya, that's the beauty of vegas ... you can go budget or 5-star, either way.

But I would mention that the one thing you CAN do in vegas, that you can't do at home (at least in most cities)

is dine at all these 5-star restaurants, see the shows, gamble, etc. ALL without paying a DIME for parking. :thumb:

The only place I've ever paid for parking was in the old downtown portion of Vegas, and even then, it was $2.

Every major casino will have a high end steakhouse. while I haven't been to all of them I would think they would all be very good.

Some of my favourites are:

emerils steakhouse in the venetion - delmonico

ruths chris is good but it is a chain

CUT had one of the best steaks i have ever had

SW is good, but a notch below delmonicos and SW

there was a place in cesars that was pretty old school that was good...sorry I can't remember it. Neros?

there is also an amazing steakhouse downtown at the four queens where you can overlook the FSE. they filmed some of the restaurant scenes from Casino there. sorry I can't remember it. as an aside I personally wouldn't make a trip downtown...kind of slummy.
