Longtime stage and screen actor, Ian Holm has passed at age 88, he was best known as Bilbo Baggins in the LOTR films, RIP, I'll always remember him as "Ash" from Alien.

The most under-rated actor of his generation, there wasn't anything he couldn't play. Also worked with Atom Egoyan and David Cronenberg.
Exactly the term I was going to use for him.
Big Night is one of my all time fave movies. I didn't watch the clip but I expect that there is a "I love you guys." in there.
