[lomotil]

RIP, he was a great journalist and communicator.

[Boss Nass]

Had a chance to meet with him once, and passed it up for something else. Always regretted it. The old guard, when news anchors were also journalists and not just talking heads, is gone, and we are losing a lot as a society.

[Insidious Von]

Peter Truman was more of a hippy than he led on.

No nonsense and austere on the Global nightly news, he did a series on Canada's Nationals Parks and Major Rivers where he let his hair down. He was giving Dr. David Suzuki competition but it ended in the late 90's.

Excellent journalist and humanitarian.
