Longtime NHL linesman Swede Knox has passed.

I saw them announce it during last night's telecast. He was not a "chicken Swede".

The Seals players there are Walt McKechnie and joey Johnston. Red Wings player is probably Guy Charron.

Officials in those days had a lot of scrums and fights to break up. different than today's NHL.
