Rogers Internet Usage/Bandwidth Issues?

Is anyone else having problems with Rogers' internet usage tracker?

When I look at my account the last day shown is Dec 6 and normally it gets updated everyday to show your daily and total bandwidth usage.

Notably, it doesn't have Dec 7-10 listed as 0 usage so I expect the numbers will eventually get added.

The reason I care is that all of a sudden my upload torrent seeding has exploded. I'm pumping out gigs of content and a much, much higher rate than normal, which I like because it gets my rating up but I'm concerned that it's out of control and I'm going to get whacked with bandwidth usage charges.

I suspect Rogers is having technical problems and has removed the throttling on my uploading. Normally that would be good news but when you can't check how much you're pumping out on a daily basis, it's cause for concern.

Anyone else having this problem?

You can throttle your uploads yourself, until Rogers updates their data. That way you are somewhat protected.

Hehehe, I know but I don't want to throttle. I want to take advantage of the high uploading rate to up my rating. I just want to make sure I don't end up uploading myself into the poor house!

Hey KE. are you saying the more you upload in torrent the faster your downloads will be? never heard that before..

that's how the bittorrent protocol was designed. you share more. you get more. if you don't share enough or anything, sooner rather than later your peers cut you off. i'm not sure how the seeders find out you're a mooch.

Rogers fixed it. They must have been having technical issues. For a 4-day period they didn't allocate any bandwidth usage to me and the throttling came off so I was uploading like a sonofabitch to up my torrent rating.
