Ah, if only my calendar read 1972. They'd sound better and it would cost less than 10 bucks.
Gotta appreciate their success over all these decades though, no one would have bet on them lasting longer than everyone else.

I'm looking forward to seeing them at Rogers Centre Sept.26. Also hoping for a "surprise" club show somewhere in T.O.

Umm, no dude. With today,s Music (alot of it crap,) the Stones still put
on a great show. I know they don,t release hardly any new music. But
with thier History, they don,t have to. Their legends for all generations..

Got two tickets for $185.00/per yesterday, I paid total of $45.00 in 1975, but I am sure it will be worth it!!

A friend of mine said this back in 2002 when he had the chance to come with me to the Skydome show. He was pissed that he missed it after hearing a bootleg copy of the concert. I've got my pre-sale code and am just waiting for the toronto show to go on sale in the next 2 weeks or so. So far, no indication that the pre-sale will be this week, more than likely will be Tuesday May 24th with public sale ( Ottawa & Toronto ) On Sat May 27th.

if you want to see a great band put on a great show note the dates and try to get tickets.

Rehersal start in June and for sure there will be a club show Mid-August.

I guess you mean they're going to roll out of their graves to do another tour? :p

I'd say Mick is fitter than most men 1/3 his age.
I don't know why they got tagged with the geezer label twenty years ago when they were Bono's age. If they were blues musicians they'd still be considered youngsters.

They were tagged as geezers 20 years ago - because they were the first generation of rockers to be playing into their forties. They paved the way for guys like Bono.

Im laughing my ass off at that statement. You must have never been a Stones fan. When i seen them the last tour they were just as good as when i seen them for the first time in 1971. i havent missed a tour since. I am even thinking of taking my 6 year old grand daughter to a show so when she grows up she can tell everyone she got to see THE GREATEST ROCK & ROLL BAND EVER . :D

Please  ....MANY will beg to differ. Each band has there qualities and differences, so I don't think anyone can say who was/is the greatest. JMHO

Saw them on thier first US tour in 1965 at Barton Hall at Cornell. Student price was a whopping five bucks I think. Maybe even less. Get Off My Cloud was their hit at the time.

I guess when they finally do a real farewell tour Mick & the Boys will be outfitted with walkers.
Even so, they'll still be a kick ass R&R band.
