Should convicted multiple murderer Ronald Smith be repatriated back to Canada? He is Canadian after all. Since we are allowing Omar Khadr and Conrad Black to come back
, why not Ron? I'm sure the U.S, would want to be rid of him.
I agree in general. Any Canadians who go abroad should suffer the consequences of their actions, however, I do feel sorry for those two guys on death row in Iran (or those Canadians kidnapped elsewhere).No. He should face the justice due in the jurisdiction in which he commited his crime.
I don't leave my morals at home when i travel abroad, and while i respect differences, some things are just flat out wrong. The death penalty should be universally opposed in every instance and in every place.elwoodinontario said:No. He should face the justice due in the jurisdiction in which he commited his crime.
Even in Islamic countries? The death penalty should be universally opposed in every instance and in every place.
Absolutely. The death penalty is always wrong and should universally be opposed.Even in Islamic countries?
Who was that Florida woman (played by Charlize Theron in the movie Monster) who asked and got the death penalty. It seems her entire process only took a few years. Why is this Ronald Smith thing dragging on for 699 years now?Should have killed him in 1983 when he asked for it.
