Sabres old jerseys.

I hate the Sabres and I hate there new jerseys too. I just saw that they were wearing the old blue and gold against the Rangers on retro-night. The old jerseys are better that the last 2 they have had. I like the old Canucks logo too.

The old jerseys were way better, but the league figures if they keep introducing more new jerseys that kids will buy them. It`s all about merchandise sales. Personally I think a team's logo and jersey should mean something, but it`s hard to do that when they keep changing them or bringing in alternative ones. What`s next? Are Montreal and Toronto going to introduce "third jerseys"?

I don't have to big a problem with the look of the new Sabers sweaters, except that they are too hard to distinguish from Nashville. And perhaps the shade of Yellow they chose doesn't contrast well with the White on the away jersey.

The original Saber's sweaters were OK in the Blue, but on the White ones the trim wasn't bold enough . Also the logo could have been bigger and for some reason the numbers & names on the back didn't look clear. Could have been the lights in the old Aud were too weak - the home games on TV always looked like they were played in dusk.

I'd suggest taking the original and making the sleeve trim bolder and the logo bigger - loose the galloping buffalo and replace it with a graphic of the same type, but only a full fronatal of a bison head lowered to charge.

It really does not matter what jerseys (old or new) the Sabres wear at any given game, at long as they win. Perhaps you want to hate them a little more when they keep winning???

This is interesting, but it would never pass focus group testing in an American town. The church-goers would view the horned skull as a veiled Baphomet reference and call for a boycott.

Looks good but the hues are too simillar to the Oilers.

This is very much on the right track, but that big blob of Grey on the Home sweater's sleeve is nasty. Just go with the old logo, only enlarged by by about 3 inches in diameter, and make the bands on sleve twice as fat as they used to be.

The Black & Red style doesn't work - too easily confused with the Blackhawcks & Devils third jerseys. The one on the right is very viable -especially if they get alot of Sweedish guys in the team - looks alot like the original Blues uniforms, they might get a quarrel from St.Louis.

I am a Sabre fan since day 1 in 1969, I hate the new ones yes I thought it was Nashville. I thought they could have used the Buffalo head from last year or The Sabre going through the B like on the sleeve last year. But this years uniform sucks!!!!!!!

Of all the North American pro leagues, the NHL has had, by far, the ugliest logos/jerseys.

I'm surprised the Kings and Canucks jerseys weren't even laughed out of the boardroom when they were choosing the new designs.
