Got scammed by Maria, found her on leolist, apparently has a lot of listings in the same name on multiple sites.

Invited me to a motel in Oshawa, took me to her room and asked me to undress in the corner. Then asked me to take a shower while swiping my wallet clean. She then asked me to dress again saying she will be taking me to a different room where the girl will be, gave me the room number and then disappeared.

While waiting for a few mins outside the room, I realized I may have been scammed and checked my wallet and found it empty.

just an fyi for you folks. Mfers can’t keep getting away with this.

Never take your wallet with you in the room . Golden rule. Only take your keys the dineros agreed on and your phone .

Sorry to hear, OP. Yeah you got robbed, not scammed. There is a difference. I'd put a call or report in to crime stoppers about it. Call the hotel as well and give them the room # and date you were there. They still have records of all the recent guests they've had.

2… say I showered before I got here, if they have a problem then too bad

3… pay after it’s done, say I’m gonna leave the cash over here on the table and after it’s done she can have it

Well it's a week later so you likely missed your window anyways. No need to be skeptical of what we're telling you. If you report it to the front desk and place an anonymous tip to Crimestoppers it won't come back to you

These shitbags need to go away. They do it based on the fact most people won't report them and until they start getting attention from law enforcement and the hotels they work out of it won't stop.

It's the same girl changing her act/ad everytime her scam runs dry my buddy at work did report her to the L.E because she pepper sprayed him and yelled rape when he was fully clothed and just handed over a donation. She visits brampton mississauga and durham often to conduct this bullshit.We need to get rid of these scammers and keep reporting to the hotel front desk I find that's more effective than L.E

If she pepper sprayed him while fully clothed and he did nothing but hand over the donation that would constitute as assault, aggravated assault, & likely aggravated assault with a weapon. All chargeable offences.

These scammers prey on the cowardice of those of us who can't go to LE due to relationships. We have to find ways to still get them caught.
