Due to her good looks Scarlett Johanssen is sometimes not taken seriously. Don't you believe it! She jumped into the fire by playing Beatrice in a Broadway production of A View From a Bridge. It's a classic play, by Arthur Miller, about Italian immigrants in Brooklyn in the 1950's. As she confessed to Craig Ferguson, she was scared shitless about doing the play...in the end both the critics and audience loved her. The play has been revived again recently with Mark Strong in the role of Eddie.
