I own a 1 year old German shepherd working line with real German bloodlines. He a great dog 100 loyal and very social with my cat and other dogs. Everyone love him. He also has one job and he does it very well. Protect my home. He a monster that no crack addict would come close to braking into my house. But my friend house got broken into some time ago. Which make me think. One strong guard dog is good. But two can be better. In the future I may want to get a Presa Canario dog. If you seem them they are scary. Again very loyal and will be raise the same as my shepherd to respect my
Cat and other dogs and normal people walking around and kill anything that come in my home when I am not there.

Kill anything that comes into your house? Hope you are joking here. That means the cleaning lady, the repair man or the mother-in-law. You're asking for a lawsuit. I am a huge dog fan, but you are expecting way to much from a K-9. Without proper training, bloodlines mean nothing. You are way better off getting a good alarm system for your house.

You are asking for trouble. You are looking to get two breeds that are very dominating, and have been raised as fight dogs throughout the ages. Its one thing for your shepherd to be social with dogs it doesn't feel threatened by, but if you bring another dominant breed into the same house to live, expect fights between the dogs. Not so bad if the presa you get is a very young puppy, but then you run the risk of having it be less agressive than you seem to want it to be, because it will be trained as a lesser dog by your shepherd.
My advice is that you shouldn't get a naturally agressive breed if you want another dog. And if you are only getting another dog because you feel you need more than one to scare away strangers, you are obviously not living in a good area and should move. Dogs are companions first and foremost. You should get a dog because you want one to cuddle with and show affection, not because you want people afraid to come anywhere near you.

Aardy is right, if you get another dog, stick to the shepherd and possibly 2 year age difference or you can have two hyper dogs on your hands.

If you live in a crack head area, why not move? Your oil and hydro would be more efficient in a new home too.

Ms I just have a lot of space in my house. Why not add a second dog. I had a second dog before a minature schunzer. It look funny having a really big dog and a small dog. They got along great. Had to give the other dog away to a family due to personal tragedy and he need something to love more then I do. I do miss willy, his name is tin tin now and I got and see him once a month. A small dog brought something different in the house. He can go on your lad and sleep on the bed. He was smaller then my cat. But even when the two have fun on the park. The size different make it hard for them to have fun like dogs of equal size should. My Shepherd love to play with 110 lb dogs. I love animals and I will get another dog but not anytime soon and it has to be alpha female. I'm not sure if my shepherd is even alpha. He get along with everyone but does not back down in a fight but does not go looking for one too. He fine as he is just a go lucky guy. With very sharp teeth.

Forget about another dog just get a badger or wolverine and invite the crackheads to walk through your door. Make sure to film the ensuing entertainment.

????

Why does this matter? If neutered and spayed, which I'm assuming you will do, a dogs sex has nothing to do with being Alpha. I had a 30 lb Whippet for years, she put the fear of god into any dog, regardless of breed, size or sex. Dogs do not recognize "Fixed" dogs as male or female. In simple terms, they become "its".
