Slightly used crowd??

I will be in your city for the next 2 months? Hopefully taste some of your SP's. But where would one go to find the over 30 crowd. I am staying at the holiday inn on Coopers street. What nights are good for going out??
Any suggestions appreciated!!

Hi Nasty,

You can search this board for suggestions, but you are close to Elgin Street.

This board will give you two main suggestions on Elgin Street:

- Maxwell's (apparently good on Wednesdays)
- Big Daddy's (apparently good after work crowd)

Both of these places have been described as Cougar bars.

If you're looking for live music you could check out Tuscon's or the Rainbow.

Hooley's on Elgin has half price drinks and food every Wednesday...u might even see me there!

All 3 of those places are in the same neighbourhood as the Holiday Inn, too. Turn right as you exit the hotel, walk to Elgin Street (2 blocks), turn left, and they're all up that strip.

Hooley's is for the college and 20-something crowd, though, so it might not be the kind of place you're looking for.

Unless you want to hang out and look for Alexxxis. ha.

i have actually seen a lot of "older" people there as well as the "college" crowd...i guess with that bar, depends what night u go...

Maybe we need a spreadsheet that says which bar/club to go to on which night, to meet which kind of people, or hear which kind of music. Gmuoo where are you???
