Soccer Games in GTA?

It has been many years since I watched Toronto FC play. I had t paid for the ticket as I was invited to a box. I recently checked ticket sales for games and all seats seem to be available through resellers - likely at a premium. The price of a seat and the availability through resellers irks me.

is there a feeder team or a semi-professional leaguein Toronto? I get the calibre will be different, but more interested in be a spectator of a game not filled with corporate markup and greed.

Check the York United FC who play in the Canadian Pro League. The quality of play is great. It's a bit far out in the suburbs in North York.

There are twenty five clubs in the York Region Football Association, five of which are in the Woodbridge/Maple area. I did watch a match between Inter FC and Woodbridge Italia at the Ontario Soccer Center (former Woodbridge Academy) last summer.

League 1 is getting better. Hope soccer continues to grow in Canada as it is so fun to watch and play.
