the Sabres took that #2 from Bernier and their own #2 and picked up Rivet from the Sharks.

So in the end you could say the Sabres traded Campbell and a #2 for Rivet and a #1, and a #3. Well done Darcy for a Campbell who was not going to re-sign in Buffalo and everyone knew it.

It would be really interesting to see what Regier could do with a team that has $ to spend. I wouldn't mind seeing him get the Leafs job next year!

Yup! Regier continues to fly under the radar......solid picks every year.

Mr. Regier has Drafted: Maxim Afinogenov, Henrik Tallinder, Ales Kotalik, Ryan Miller, Paul Gaustad, Derek Roy, Jason Pominville and Thomas Vanek, not too bad.


The Media has continued to speculate Brian Burke will join our Leafs next June and I for one think it'll happen. I also think it's a huge mistake.

Burke arose in Van City with a solid team and it failed miserably in the playoffs.
Then Burke goes to Duck City and inherits a solid base of a team Ya he signs
Pronger, Niedermayer and I think Selanne.But, really what has he ever done on his own?

Darcy Regier in Toronto would be great.
