Had a bad day, gotta vent:

1/ All the whinning about Family Day and who's working and who's off. Fuck off and deal with it everybody.

2/ I openned a new box of new "Shreddies Diamonds" and every piece was square! There were no fucking diamonds!

3/ The save the environment movement. Fuck it. Just because.


Okay... I feel better.
Return to your normal programming.

Don't you all know why its "family day" in Canada. Today is "President Day" here in the USA. Guess some of you were sick of having to work on a US holiday :p

Really most people worked today. It was just public schools, government workers and bankers that had the day off. What about in Canada?

1. I'm with ya...shut the fuck up & deal!

2. I had this exact thought when I saw the commercial! Just rotate a regular shreddie 45 degrees! What a scam!

3. The save the environment thing is doomed to failure...for every jag off who recycles or drives a hybrid, there's 100 people in China or some other country saying "Fuck it!"

It is not a Canadian holiday, it is provincial. It is Family Day in Alberta & Ontario... Not in BC... I am not sure about the rest of the provinces & territories

I got a box of those diamond shreddies. But they must have started filling the boxes before they completely switched over to making the diamonds 'cuz mine had both squares and diamonds!

We were discussing this with my s/o's 15 yr old kid who actually thought they were making a NEW shape of Shreddies. When we explained for the 3rd time that it was a just a clever marketing campaign and that Shreddies always were in the shape of a square which is also a diamond when turned slightly, she was really pissed at Shreddies.

I was really pissed that she is still suffering from the damage that Mike Harris and Flarety did to the education system.

I had some respect for John Tory ... But after reading his comments about Family Day, I think he needs a good kick in the ass. Tory shit all over McSquinty for Family day. Most people that I know had the day off...

I didn't have a bad day, but reading what Tory had to say pissed me off... and of course the Sikh guy fighting the helmet law, did not help either

I have no problem with someone not wearing a helmet - as long as they sign off that any health costs due to head injuries are to be fully paid by themselves not by the rest of us.

Me too... but as long as it is an across the board law.. not one of exceptions for Sikhs, NFL quarterbacks, little old ladies with death wishes, or the guy claiming to have migraines because of his helmet..

I think it should be that they sign off on the insurance and that they sign their organ donor card...
