So it is probably a boring topic but today I fixed the sewage pipe for my trailer. It was the grossest job I have ever done and I have An even greater respect for plumbers and people who work in sewage and sanitation.

But, me, as a woman, when women don’t normally fix things in trailers periods, let alone a shit pipe that smelled to high heaven, did it all by myself! I even had the tools and supplies on hand which was shocking but I had fixed a leak under the sink last year so I had left overs.

Stereotypically, this is not woman’s work. I wish it didn’t have to be anyone’s work. I don’t know how anyone does it.

But I am proud of myself that I did it. It was like the time I changed the rad hose in the CT parking lot.

Anyone else ever do Anything unexpected in their life that they were proud of. Something out of your normal comfort zone. And no, getting pegged doesn’t count.

Yeah I think you are amazingly and sharing this is really cool.

I remember when you first started posting on here, I see and feel the change, and now it feels like you are happy and have this amazing energy about you. You feel like you changed for the better and evolved. I remember we went at it in a few posts early on when you joined lol I was like omg she sounds so bitter and she doesn’t even know me lol good thing you didn’t take offence at my harsh words lol

WOW this is awesome. I love seeing this kind of stuff on here. It makes it worth it.

I feel better in the summers. I am active, outdoors, in nature. I hate the winter and may often sound bitter, but it is just the cold in my bones. LOL. I should move to a summer only climate. Bikinis suit me better then snowsuits. LOL

I actually do fish. I was just out last night. Caught a couple small mouth bass and a few little perch. LOL

I have my own gear, I have my fishing holes I kayak to, almost nightly.

No boat though, so that counts me out for marriage....

I've learned so much from youtube videos to do small household repairs. Hung doors, replaced glass in doors, small plumbing stuff.
I would have loved to offer you help hand you the tools you requested to make the job go faster.

Update:

Since I triple check everything, it was not quite right. So I went back and figured I should have used caulking just to be extra safe.

Went to the local Home Hardware, got the caulking and come back to the park. Had to open that sewage pipe AGAIN, YUK.

But this fix will last another 35 years.

Ok, maybe not that long, who knows but a really really long time. Which is good because I never want to do that again.

And no bathing suit this time, but I did wear yoga pants! That counts right?


PS - how many men got all giddy at the word “Caulking”? Come on admit it, you always think cocking in your head. LOL
