According to Grok the song is Boogie Nights #2 by Charles Wright and the Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band. However, I could not find that song on YouTube.

The song is called Got to Give It Up. Epic disco track. Was in several movie soundtracks the one I remember most was Summer of Sam starring John Leguizamo.

The soundtrack to Boogie Nights is excellent. Almost as impressive as the ensemble: Mark Wahlberg, Burt Reynolds, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Don Cheadle, William H. Macy, Julianne Moore, Heather Graham, John C. Reilly, Luis Guzman and even Nina Hartley. Burt Reynolds was the perfect choice for the role of Jack Horner, a sleazebag porn director. Jimmy Woods would have also killed in that role but he wasn't even considered for it.

Gonna watch this movie again, its been quite a while. Wahlberg is one of my favorite actors. Awesome disco scene here. The song is Machine Gun by The Commodores.
