Hopefully its part of the Rogers VIP Package or Super Sports package which I have. Knowing Rogers I wouldnt put it past them to have it seperate from either of those packages just to make their customers have to pay extra.SportsNet One began broadcasting at noon, just over an hour ago. Did anybody take note ?
It will carry tonight's Jays game and is free for a month. CH394 on my Rogers Cable.
More sports. Cool !
I hear you.Hopefully its part of the Rogers VIP Package or Super Sports package which I have. Knowing Rogers I wouldnt put it past them to have it seperate from either of those packages just to make their customers have to pay extra.
That's exactly what it's for. Provide the same amount of quality major league stuff on two channels, fill it out with poker, darts and similar filler s**t and make the customers pay for each. On the other hand, maybe with more income they can bump up the Jays' payroll by a few million. Or not.Knowing Rogers I wouldnt put it past them to have it seperate from either of those packages just to make their customers have to pay extra.
The blackouts are just Rogers way of coercing you into paying for the Supersports package. Gotta love those sneaky marketing tactics.............. NOT.I saw that they're offering all sorts of flames and oilers games this year, or will they be blacked out in ontario as they usually on sportnet west?!!
Is Rudy about a short football player? Is it in high definition?... and on SportsNet Ontario - a movie ... Rudy. This movie is 15 years old. What the fuck ?
Yes, that Rudy. The one about the Notre Dame guy who got into one game at the end of his college football days.Is Rudy about a short football player? Is it in high definition?
I'm with you.Well, this is lose-lose for me. I am not a sports fan, but I am a Jays fan. I do not watch sports 6 months of the year, 7 if the Jays stink so badly they are 15 games out by September.
So now I am going to either lose half my Jays games or have to pay extra for a channel I will not watch most of the time.
Let's call Rogers and ask them to consolidate all the Jays games on one channel and cut out all this poker/darts crap.I'm with you.
I refuse to pay extra for programming that used to be free. I really miss the golf channel, but no way I'm gonna pay extra for. I will also really miss some Jays games as well, but there is enough other stuff or DVD's that I can watch. Life will go on.
For sure they'll listen to us. They just hafta.Let's call Rogers and ask them to consolidate all the Jays games on one channel and cut out all this poker/darts crap.
The blackouts are NHL rules, nothing to do with Rogers, blame the owners and their yesman Bettman. The blackouts are just Rogers way of coercing you into paying for the Supersports package. Gotta love those sneaky marketing tactics.............. NOT.
