Spybot/AdawareSE ??

rayfinkel After i check I dont know if Im deleting the spyware or whatever it found the proper way?

I choose select all then hit next and it deletes and Quarantines them.

Should I be doing something else?

Whats the proper way to run Ada and Spybot together cause they conflict eachother sometimes.

Is it better to run one before the other?

New Microsoft Antispyware program is crap. It deleted my internet settings and websites with passwords dont work and some site home pages dont refresh.

Ad-Aware SE Personal 1.05 serves me well. Just remember to update your definitons file regularly.

Have you ever found instances where Ad-Aware was unable to remove the adware. That is you detect and remove it but upon rebooting your computer it is back again?

I have, but on my last computer which was running Windows 98 SE.. (quite possibly the worst OS ever.. but we'll leave that for another thread. )

Haven't had that problem on my XP powered computer.

I have had great results by complementing LavaSoft & Spybot with AVG by Grisoft. Put your tech guy to work on it.
