go to scarborough location, it alot better. but that place is packed. i usually go there for their parathas and dosas
Regular Indian food in Toronto is from Northern India. Sri Lankan food is very similar to Southern Indian food. I can recommend Madras Masala at 796 Bloor West. As the name implies, it has Southern Indian food. Excellent dosas. Its next door to Banjara which has Northern Indian cuisine. The latter is very popular and its hard to get a table without waiting.Isn't it the same as regular Indian food?

Rashnaa. Nice cosy little place to take a bohemian girl on a cheap date. In Cabbagetown, about 100 feet east of Parliament on Wellesley.There's a very good place at Wellesley and Parliament...don't remember the name.

Yep! There is/was another one just like it, just down the street on Amelia, a few doors from the corner. There also used to be a little hole-in-the-all place on the north side of King, just east of Dufferin, too; I had some amazing fish curry there once. Can't guarantee it's still there, though.There's a very good place at Wellesley and Parliament...don't remember the name.
I forget where, but I once saw a Tamil Tiger calendar on the wall of a little Sri Lankan cafe. Really gave the place some authentic, old-country atmosphere.
