Stag & Doe Etiquette

Tonight's my Stag & Doe. I'm the last of my group getting married. I'm pretty sure I'm in for a bit of payback for the drinks I bought them at their parties. But, that was a long time ago. We're not all 20 year olds anymore. Plus, my mother's gonna be there. The last thing I want is to puke in front of everybody. How do I stay "acceptably drunk" with such persistent friends?

What you do is make a pact with the waitstaff(I used to bartend -trust me). Explain that you need to maintain your composure and have them water down your drinks (order something specific like a gin and tonic with a lemon and a lime so the staff knows which is yours). Usually friends are inclined to watch their ps and qs when in-laws are involved anyways so I wouldn't worry too much Congrats and have fun.
