Idiot. he didn't restart it after the company made massive dough later as another poster already pointed out to you..
Yep, totally true but you were blasting him for cutting off the cash when he took over the company.

Shut up. He lied on his paternity papers by saying he was 'sterile' for years while the child was raised on welfare and he was already a millionaire. Shut up sheeple fanboy.
He did that for two years and then acknowledged her as his daughter. He then helped her out after that.

Listen to you.. saying "someone like him.." As if to say he is a better person despite the bullshit he did just because he was rich. You're excusing it just because for some stupid belief you've ingrained in yourself that people with lots on money are better than you. Pathetic. Yeah I'm the better person asshole cause I'd never let a child of mine live on welfare if I could afford to do otherwise.
Despite what Jobs has done in the past he will always be a better person than you. The best that you can do is get on here to troll and conduct personal attacks.

Is it just me who thinks this latest feature, Siri, to iPhone 4S is going to be Jobs' biggest impact on our future? Jobs worked on this for decades and died just before he realized his dream of a virtual personal assistant. I find that feature mind boggling and the media just seemed to have missed it because of their disappointment that the phone design is still the same, but the guts are completely different.

Imagine your own personal assistant telling you your schedule for the day first thing when you get up, or to tell you to bring an umbrella today as it's going to rain, or to remind you to buy a present as it's your 5th wedding anniversary today, or tell you to pick up milk on your way home from work after your wife caled, and on and on and on.......... the evolution of this feature will blow us all away and it was Jobs vision over 30 years ago, and it finally hit the market. It will only get better, the possibilities are limited by only our imagination.

No i was blasting you for implying he was always giving out cash without proof to back yourself.

He did that for two years and then acknowledged her as his daughter. He then helped her out after that.

How can you know he's better than me or anyone else without knowing him personally? Oh that's right.. You say that just because he was rich and famous.. Thanks for proving my last point about you. Bet you'd also ignore the fact he used his cash to jump the line for that liver transplant since you selfishly think he was 'better' than the others in line thanks to your fanboy arrogance right?

This better not be you.

Game changers ???

1. Introduction of Apple computers in 1984 : Nothing technical here - just marketing - the unique attribute was putting everything in one package wasn't even original: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commodore_VIC-20
2. The use of "i" on popular culture : Jobs had nothing to do with that (sheesh) - if he could - he would have taken a trademark out and sued everyone for infringement
3. iPod : Marketing - The mp3 player was already on the market (I had a couple long before iPod)
4. iTunes : Already in existance - Amazon, Napster (after the clamp down) Note - The great step Jobs did (not technical but marketing) is the iPod + iTunes combination i.e. a manufacturer providing source material for their product. They also were the the first to market the hell out of an mp3 player.
5. IPhone : Yes, Jobs had never heard of Palm or RIM when he created this product from thin air. Actually Jobs was simply mapping the same idea for content that he used for the iPod.
6. Apple retailer stores: Really??? I didn't notice the Job's genius when I left the Sony store in Square One to walk into the new Apple store for the first time.
7. Pixar : Duh, existing technology developed by the founder George Lucas. Jobs was smart enough to recognize the potential while George was bored and moved on to new projects.
8. iPad : Tablet computers were in existence long before iPad - where do you think Jobs got the idea from - his own mind ? LOL

"Looks like he made an impact, business, technology, and even culturally, huh!" Only in a Jobs brainwashed mind but certainly not in reality.

This is so easy but I wonder if I'm shattering a child like dream akin to proving Santa Claus is a myth.

I don't think that people are saying that Jobs "invented" these things nor do I think that they are calling him a genius because he invented them.
Steve Jobs now belong to the ages. He is in the company of Leonardo, Bell, Edison, Marconi, Tesla, Watson, Ford, Eastman, Land, etc.
The previous individuals (except Jobs) created/ discovered science and applied technology that never existed. There maybe some back peddling by Jobs worshipers but some people were actually suggesting that this drop out had originated ideas instead of packaging other peoples.

Ever heard of the saying, "Ideas are a dime a dozen........making them reality and making money off of them is another story"

Regardless, let the friggin' guy RIP already.

From what I understand, there won't be a product coming out of Apple for 5 years, that doesn't have Jobs hands all over it. Ther copmpany is going to succeed for a while yet. As someone said one of his favorite quote was fro Wayne Gretzky, paraphrased as, 'I head to where the puck is going to be'.

Any innovation takes years and years of R&D and evaluation
He bought Siri in 2010, it just came out now. How is that years and years of R&D? lol
He bought the technology, just like he (Jobs) copied a British man's 1979 design of the iPod.

Years and years...? lol

In case you didn't follow where I came up with the question.

Siri wasn't developed overnight, was it?
Apple could've worked on similar tech, and found that Siri would help in their own development?

Jobs had the vision and approvals to release tech.

Possibly of course, but Fun-Guy made it seem like they worked on Siri for "decades" themselves.
This kind of stuff was inevitable no doubt.
I'm sure it'll be a matter of time before we can fly in our vehicles and fold them into a suitcase as well, but I doubt we'll ever see that day personally.

No i was blasting you for implying he was always giving out cash without proof to back yourself.
Really? Then, I guess you better re-read what I posted.

That does not excuse those 2 yrs.
No one is excusing that but he did try to make up for it. But, nothing is going to stop you from harping on that, right?

I don't know you personally either but it's pretty easy to get a feel for someone who immediately launches into personal attacks and sends off private messages to goad someone. Pathetic.

Jobs will always be better than you. Deal with it. Or not.

Jobs is dead - not better than anybody. It's over. Deal with that.

Yeah wasn't Bill Gates a dropout and didn't he buy the first MSDOS from IBM.
Maybe in the MacHistory books. Bill Gates sold the first DOS to IBM. He actually bought the MS-DOS from some other shlep then sold it to IBM. Bill Gates one supreme moment of inspiration came when he did this without IBM securing the exclusive rights to the software. When IBM came out with the PC, companies bought it and the DOS it was running was the world wide PC standard. Then the PC- clones hit the market all running MSDOS. IBM was unable to compete and then left 90%+ computers world wide buying their operating system from Microsoft.

When Gates body hits the 'blue' screen and I see people crediting him with the birth of computer, father of the operating system, originator of the concept of Excel, Word & PowerPoint ..... I'll jump in at that time. I'll compare him to Jobs - two billionaires who made their money marketing other peoples ideas.
