Stood up

Last night I was stood up by Cindy from Montreal (EC). I booked at 11:45 asking for an appointment at 12:30. I was told the address and told to call back when I get there for the buzzer number. When I arrived at 12:25, her cell was off. I went to a bar and tried 4 or 5 more times. When I got home, I tried again and the cell never came back on.

After booking the appointment, I showered, dressed and drove downtown, which is not a short trip. Only to be stood up. At least she could have changed her answering message to indicate that something had come up.

Granted, it happens that clients stand SPs up all of the time. However, Cindy has made a special trip to Ottawa and is standing her clients up? It doesn't make sense, she can do that in Montreal without the expense of a hotel room.

In any case, I'm just posting the fact so that others will know that a late night meeting with Cindy may end up in no meeting at all.

Thanks, newinOtt, I was going to take a poke at Cindy in the next couple of weeks, but I think I will invest my green (and my veal) elsewhere.
