Back when I was in school if you got caught fighting the teachers would take you to the gym and make both guys put on some boxing gloves and beat the shit out of each other, no guns no knives no baseball bats and usually we walked away with a little more respect for each other we should have more of that today

Back in Oz (way back, lol, late 60s early 70s) if a few blokes got shirty with each other they'd let them go the biff in the gym and the phys Ed teacher would stand back and let them settled it... then like a boxing ref he'd jump in to end it if someone was getting scruffed up too much. Then make them shake hands and life moved on. Old school, no gloves.
Reckon they'd get sued today.
