La la land
Swimming.

This is not a sex report but a crude observation into life. I just got back from Cuba. I always thougth Hollywood or those Girls on video are just lies.

During my lying down on the beach I noticed that the Cubans don't swim nor can they swim. Unless they are fisherman, or fisherman working of the shores are the only ones who can swim.

The majority of the Cuban would stay close to shore. Basically the water would only hit their calfs. The other group the water came up to the knees and lastly pee height. Only one Cuban guy with Snorkels swam about 4meter or 12' from shore. When he stood up the water was only up to his stomach.

I thought am I crazy or should I go and ask them why? Since I looked like them and speak their language fluent I decided against it. They would be all over me and I just want to relax. Now I notice their hot woman wouldn't/couldn't or perhaps didn't want to swim. They simply got wet or sat down until the water reached their neck while being in 2' of water.

Now to the Canadian girls. The hotter the girl the less they can swim. Serioulsy I saw a girl go in 2' and get wet to her neck and come out running and lay on the lawn chair to get some sun. Oh She was hot and the bikini was close to a G-string and yet they wouldn't swim. I mean just 2 minutes along the shore would be okay. But nothing happen.

But is it my imagination that people can't swim at all?
I see kids at the Y in swim classes even when I was kid there were alot of kids, so how is it that these girls forgot to swim.
Or does the bikini come OFF when they swim in a G-string?

Anybody?

Most people don't go to the beach for a workout. The water is mostly there to play or just to cool off. Besides, if the thongs were in the water more, we'd have less of a view.

You've uncovered a great conspricy. The general public isn't supposed to know that beautiful people can not swim.

Soon you will get a knock on your door. I recommend you don't answer it.

I've noticed that too. Most of my friends don't know how to swim. All my ex-gf's didn't know how to swim.

Most, if not all, of the commercial fisherman, on the Great lakes and down east, I know don't know how to swim. I thought this a little odd until one of them explained why - IF they go overboard, or their boat goes down they don't want anyone risking their lives to save them and they water is cold and they don't want to suffer anymore than they have to.
Its an interesting outlook on life.

Its not just Cuba its like that every where in the Caribbean. The only day you will see locals is at the beach is Sunday. There are a couple of reasons given:

1) to you, the water is warm, to the locals, it is cooler because they live in the tropics and their blood is thinner and they don't feel the same need to cool off. So, the beach on a Sunday is a family thing, go down there a splash around up to the knees and chat with your friends for an hour at most. Bath the babies.

2) the locals originated in the area as a slave class, and because swimming is an 'idle-time' luxury activity, their forefathers never had the opportunity to swim. Hence, it never became part of their popular culture.

3) Fear of predation and the unknown. Because they were not native to sea there was ignorance of the sea when they arrived (in iron shackles) and it is not "in there blood" to swim as much as one might expect.

4) We come from a land of ice and snow. A warm hot sunny beach for us has a completely different exotic appeal. On their time off, Sunday for example, the locals like to dress up, not down, put on their best clothes, and go to church. Afterwards perhaps a picnic or a family dinner with 40 to 60 people attending is more their custom.

5) i grew up swimming, and was never out of the water all summer at the lake. Then I went to the Caribbean and lived there for a couple of years. For the first three months I was always at the beach. After awhile I would go only on weekends. Eventually it was every other Sunday. It just seemed like I had better things to do than milling around with the partying tourists at the beach . When you live in the Caribbean, 'sunbathing' is the last thing on your to- do list, and there is only so much swimming you really want to do.
